he Lake Forest Shop proudly supports numerous local non-profit organizations. Often, we will invite supporters of organizations and one of our designers for an exclusive evening of shopping at The Lake Forest Shop. Customers meet the designer, catch a first glimpse of their new collection, and enhance their awareness of the cause. A notable event was the 19th annual kick-off walk-a-thon for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Libertyville and Skokie. The evening titled “Shopping for a Cure” featured couture pieces and appearances by Magid and Michele Bernard.

reated by the shop's owner, Ellen Stirling, “Shop Your Cause” is a highly anticipated annual event in which 10% of the store's sales are donated to a variety of local organizations such as Deerpath Art League, Gorton Community Center, Lake Forest Hospital, Lake Forest Symphony, Ragdale Foundation, Stirling Hall, Lake Forest High School, Lake Forest Open Lands, and Elawa Farms. We celebrate with a fun-filled opening night cocktail party at the store with gift drawings, accessories, refreshments, and more. Included are trunk shows from a handful of our favorite designers. The 6th annual event will take place October 1st through 10th, 2008.
